Co-curricular enables pupils to learn vital skills and develop interests which will help them have a positive impact on their world and have a huge amount of fun.
At St Peter's, inspiring teaching and an extensive co-curricular programme combine to provide our pupils with an exceptional array of opportunities in music, sports, the arts and much more. We give equal weighting to the academic, pastoral and co-curricular elements of a child's education to equip them with the Four Keys: qualifications, skills, interests and values.
The co-curricular programme is essential for pupils to engage with all four Pillars by gaining additional or by supporting their Qualifications, developing Key Skills, discovering and nurturing new Interests and practicing the Values. We believe that mastering these pillars will give our pupils the “Keys for Life”.
As its name suggests, co-curricular sits alongside the curriculum rather than as an extra. It is a vital element in developing our pupils' skills and interests for them to enjoy at school and take into their adult lives.
