Optional Sports Meet and Greet with Heads of Sport and Director of Sport. If you are interested in this session where you can hear about our provision and meet our coaches, please book a place here.

There will also be an opportunity to ask about Boarding, Help with Fees and socialise with members of staff over tea and coffee.
Unfortunately, we will not be able to offer tours of the Boarding Houses on the evening. If you are interested in boarding and would like a tour of the boarding facilities at a later date, please contact [email protected].

Exploring Our School
You will explore the St Peter’s campus with our pupil guides. Each tour will last approximately 30 minutes, although please allow longer if you wish to visit our boarding houses.
There will be many opportunities to speak to members of staff before and after your tour.
Refreshments will be available in the Memorial Hall Foyer and Naylor Hall (where you end your tour) throughout the morning.
Junior School Open Morning - Saturday 5 October
Nursery to Year 6
Registration Timings
8:30 - 10:30am
Arrival for Nursery - Year 3 groups at the 2-8 Chillman Building. Tours will commence when you arrive. Please register at the 2-8 (Chillman Building) Reception.
8:30am - 9:30am
Arrival slot for those with children in both the Nursery - Year 3 and Year 4 -6 groups who would like a tour of both parts of the school. You will be taken on a tour of 2-8 first, and will then be directed to 8-13.
10:30am
Arrival slot for Year 4 - 6 excluding potential chorister applicants, attending the tour of Junior School Facilities. Please park at the Senior School and you will be escorted down to the 8-13 campus where you will be registered.
11am
Arrival slot for Year 4 Chorister Applicants, attending the tour of the Junior School and a talk on life as a chorister.
12 noon
Event finishes.
2:15pm
Chorister applicants attending the York Minster Chorister Experience Day.
Exploring Our School

You will explore the 2-8 campus yourself, speak to members of staff stationed in each room and your children will be given an opportunity to play in the rooms.
Year 4 - Year 6
You will explore the St Peter’s campus with our pupil guides. Each tour will last approximately 30 minutes.
Choristers
There will be an opportunity to hear about the life-changing opportunity of being a York Minster Chorister at the 8-13 campus. Please arrive at 11am and indicate to a member of staff that you are interested for entry into Year 4 with a Choristership. Choristers receive substantial fee remission and priority for admissions.

- Our campus spans 50 acres so please wear comfortable shoes and dress appropriately for the weather on the day. Please remember to hand in your visitor lanyard at the end of your visit.
Getting Here
Visitors should enter the site at our main entrance on the A19. For satellite navigation, use postcode YO30 6AB. The entrance to our campus is located immediately to the west of the footbridge over the A19. Parking is available on site, although spaces are limited so we encourage as many people as possible to take public transport or walk.
