The Conkers’ Nursery graduation was a resounding success with hats sent skyward after a wonderful concert where two of the seven songs were sung in Italian.
Our talented bi-lingual nursery performers serenaded friends and family with ‘Testa, Spalle, Ginocchia, Piedi’ (Heads, Shoulders, Knees and Toes), The Nursery Hello Song and Shake Your Sillies Out, amongst others.
Parents were also treated to a film made by staff to showcase the children’s work, activities and trips over the last year, and accessed through iPads left for them to use on their seats.
Phil Hardy, Head Teacher, St Peter’s 2-8, said: “Congratulations to everyone in Nursery for a fantastic year. Thank you to our seven sensational staff who put the children at the heart of everything they do, and our wonderful parents for your ongoing support. Enjoy watching our film where you can see life as a child in Nursery”.
