Our free public lecture series has returned, with author and physics teacher David Hutchings discussing the findings of his book 'Of Popes and Unicorns'.
Yesterday evening, he described the relationship between science and religion through time, including misconstrued stories about Galileo, Christopher Columbus and the library of Alexandria. Offering an understanding of this conflict through time was insightful to all attendees, which included members of the public, staff, parents, and pupils.
A huge thank you to David for offering his time to deliver such a fascinating lecture. If you missed the lecture, you can find David's book here.
