St Peter's 13-18 have teamed up with HOPING Street Kitchen York this Christmas to help homeless people living in the York area.
HOPING Street Kitchen want to make sure that every homeless person in York has a gift on Christmas Day. We are therefore asking tutor groups to create gift bags of small and inexpensive items. Each pupil will have the opportunity to contribute a small item towards one of these gift bags, which we hope will be a fun and meaningful task for them.

We are hoping to collect at least 40 gift bags to ensure that all those supported by HOPING Street Kitchen receive something this Christmas.
In addition, if anybody would like to help even more, we are welcoming our families and staff to contribute their own gifts for distribution. The charity has asked that these are placed into a gift bag, Christmas bag for life, or a shoebox wrapped in Christmas paper (so that it can still be opened).
