Pupils and staff at St Peter’s 13-18 have prepared yet another virtual 6-2-7 concert for the St Peter's School community to enjoy at home.
The concert, which will be streamed on Thursday 11 February at 6pm, will feature solo and ensemble performances from recent home recording projects.
The programme includes music by Bach, Chopin, Liszt, Beethoven, Reger, Grieg, Fauré, Hisaishi, Gershwin, Rodgers and Hammerstein, Zequinha Abreu, Kit Morgan and Elton John.
Solo performances have been submitted by pupils across all year groups at St Peter’s 13-18, and ensemble performances have been provided by the Boys’ Barbershop and Girls’ Barbershop.
Paul Miles-Kingston, Director of Music at St Peter's 13-18, said:
We are delighted that the pupils have responded so well in recent weeks and continued to enjoy their music-making. We have offered our full programme of music lessons at St Peter’s and it is heartening to see pupils in all year groups participating in this concert.
You can watch the concert on the St Peter's School Youtube channel on Thursday 11 February at 6pm. The concert will be available afterwards for those who wish to watch the performances at a later date.
