Our Lower Sixth Geographers have been participating in fieldwork around the local area. The pupils spent the day on foot around Clifton and out to Clifton Moor, looking at landscape evaluation and emotion mapping in different parts of the city.
The geographers made a variety of observations and measurements. These ranged from pollution and sound recordings to emotion mapping - “how does being in this area make you feel?”
An important lesson for our pupils was an appreciation of the vast degree of diversity in our 'home area'.
