Congratulations to all LAMDA pupils for their amazing results in their recent exams! Across the board, we had a majority of pupils scoring Distinctions with a few Merits.

A special mention goes to Pebbles, Oaken and Ella, who all received Distinctions for their Grade 8 Public Speaking.

For their exam, they were required to prepare and present a political or cultural talk of their own choice and present an impromptu speech from a choice of three topics selected by an examiner. With the impromptu speeches, pupils are only given 15 minutes to prepare and they all did exceptionally well and can take away transferable skills for life.

The LAMDA public speaking exams are internationally recognised and prepare pupils to become excellent communicators.

Only this week, Piyush, a former pupil at St Peter's, who is now at Imperial College London studying medicine, was able to coach our pupils in their interview techniques for Medical School interviews. Piyush secured Public Speaking (Gold Medal) with Distinction at St Peter's and is now able to use his LAMDA qualifications in Communication and Performance to encourage others to be successful.

Congratulations to the following pupils for their efforts. Torin for his Grade 6 Acting Bronze Medal with Distinction and Lewis and Lisa for their Grade 5 Acting solo with Distinction.

Following on from last week's LAMDA results, we would also like to congratulate Jamie who does LAMDA outside of school and recently received a distinction for his Grade 7 Acting Silver Medal exam.
