This week our pupils at St Peter's 8-13 have been putting on a show ' Pantomime Academy' to the rest of the school, and 2 performances to parents and grandparents.
The story of a boy, Maurice, who is always in the chorus or playing the back end of the pantomime cow. He gets teased by other children and is always overlooked. In the end, the pupils see how mean they have been and realise how much they need Maurice. Maurice also realises how much he matters to them.
All pupils have worked tremendously hard, learning lines, song words and dance moves. It is part of their work in both English and Drama this term. The show was written so that every pupil has a speaking part - that's 60 in total!
