18 swimmers from St Peter's will be taking part in the ‘World School Swimming Championship’ over the course of two days, 21 and 22 May. Swimmers ranging from Year 8 to Year 12 will take part in both individual events and team events to establish who can call themselves ‘World School Champions’. The event, held at the Olympic Pool in London is a fantastic opportunity to come together, compete and integrate with schools and pupils from all over the world.
Mr Maycock, Head of Swimming at St Peter's, said 'this will be an amazing experience for our pupils both in and out of the pool, and one that enables them to showcase themselves to the world. They have achieved so much this year on the national scale, and this will be the icing on the cake’
Victoria (Fourth Form) said 'I am excited and grateful to have the opportunity to represent St Peter's at the championships, alongside good friends and team mates'
