Three St Peter's Swimmers are selected for Nationals!

Congratulations to 3 swimmers, Eloise (Third Form), Raya (Third Form) and Callum (Fifth Form), who have all qualified for British Nationals, and the English National Swimming competitions!

Callum will compete in the 400IM (British), Eloise 200m Breaststroke, 100m free relay (British) and 100m and 50m (English) and Raya in the 400IM, 100m backstroke and 50m backstroke (English). 

This is a fantastic achievement and testament to their incessant hard work and dedication to swimming. Callum and Raya will be representing York City Baths Club, while Eloise will be swimming for Tadcaster Swim Club. 

Head of Swimming, Mr Maycock, said, “The way these three pupils conduct themselves with their attitude to swimming and balancing their school work is admirable and something to be very proud of. They are a shining example to other student athletes’.’
