St Peter’s School Ranked Highly in the Sunday Times Parent Power List, 2023
The Sunday Times Parent Power list has once again recognised St Peter’s School as one of the top schools in the North of England and in the top 115 nationally.
St Peter’s School’s ranking for 2023 is based on A Level and GCSE results from 2022, with 88% of grades at A*-B at A Level and nearly 75% of grades at 9-7 (A*/A) at GCSE.
St Peter’s has long-been recognised as one of the top schools in the country. It was named The Sunday Times North Independent Second School of the Year, 2019, and was named the TES Independent School of the Year, 2021.
Head Master, Jeremy Walker said of the 2023 Parent Power List:
“We are delighted to see the excellence of St Peter’s recognised once again as one of the top schools in the country and a leader of education in the North of England. Our pupils achieve remarkable success in examinations - a wonderful achievement following the disruption and lockdowns of recent years - and we are extremely proud of them.
Just as importantly, we equally value the huge range of opportunities outside of the classroom and the spark, creativity and fun that our pupils bring to St Peter’s. It is in these areas that they develop the skills and interests which set them up for confident and fulfilled lives where they can make a positive contribution to their world.”
