Last week, Katie and Isobel travelled to Newcastle to compete in the regional final of the National Gallery Articulation Competition. This competition involves students choosing a work of art or architecture to speak about. Both speakers were commended for the detail of their research, the quality of their visual materials, and their enthusiasm.
Katie won with her talk on Yayoi Kusama. The first St Peter's pupil to do so, she will travel to London to compete in the national final, to be held in the British Library.
