St Peter's 2-8 have been celebrating Christmas early this year with a special Christmas Wish Bauble Day on Friday 27 November.
Children aged 2-8 have been decorating their own baubles this week, and each child has written and placed a Christmas wish inside their bauble.
The baubles were added to the Christmas Trees in the school Foyer and Library on Friday 27 November, with designated timeslots for each class bubble to make their Christmas wish.
Ms Caroline Fattorini, PA to the Head of St Peter’s 2-8, who organised the event said: “With so many Christmas events being been cancelled this year, we wanted to create something special and festive for the children.”
Mr Phil Hardy, Head of St Peter’s 2-8, said: “Christmas is always such a special time at St Peter’s 2-8. This year we felt it was more important than ever to focus on wellbeing and make sure each and every child experienced the magic of Christmas by decorating their own unique bauble, and making a wish which they can then share with the rest of the St Peter’s 2-8 school community.
“It has been truly magical to read the wishes and experience their joy and laughter as they hang them on the tree.”
All baubles will be returned to the children on the last day of term so that they can hang them on their own Christmas Tree at home and share their wish with their families.
