SharkFest

Year 1 enjoyed a wonderful day at Sharkfest to celebrate their learning theme this term, Deep Discovery'. It began with Shark Walk, where they all ventured down the runway displaying their fabulous shark-inspired outfits before spending the afternoon with Billy Hickling from Trash Bang who demonstrated and taught them how to recycle household rubbish into musical instruments. It was a fabulous orchestral delight to the eyes and ears. They then finished the afternoon on an inflatable obstacle course where we soon discovered the fastest swimmers from the shiver of sharks gliding across the course, before finishing the day with an ice cream. What a wonderful day they have all had and our thanks to the Year 1 team for creating such a fun day for them all.
