Hitting the Right Notes

Upper Sixth pupil Tommy has passed his Grade 8 drum kit with distinction.

Tommy took the challenging and technical exam as a digital grade at the end of last term and he clearly hit all the right notes!

Tommy and his teacher Mr Heywood have been playing together for several years and Tommy's recent achievement is the culmination of their hard work. Mr Heywood and Mr Miles-Kingston, Director of Music at St Peter's, are understandably proud.

Following the return to school after the Christmas holiday, individual music lessons have resumed remotely with over 600 lessons taking place weekly across the school. 

The Music Department at St Peter's 13-18 are also planning to host another virtual 6-2-7 concert on Thursday 11 February, which will feature individual and ensemble performances from several pupils who will record their performances at home.
