In recent art lessons, J3 have been working hard to create a collaborative installation to commemorate Remembrance Day. They have each crafted a beautiful felt poppy and added detail to them using a range of hand embroidery techniques. Each poppy is individual and special. The poppies have been mounted onto a canvas together to create a field of poppies, based on the Flanders' Fields. The canvas has been displayed in the school entrance to honour those who have lost their lives in service.
