St Peter's Cross Keys Choir – a free community choir open to children aged 7-12 who love to sing - had its inaugural concert at the Lady Chapel York Minster on Saturday. Friends, family and visitors were treated to wonderful renditions of Benjamin Britten’s melancholy Old Abram Brown and the lively Pirate for a Day by Roger Emerson.
Bravo to our new choir – a collaboration between St Peter's 8-13 Music Department and York Minster.
The Cross Keys Choir starts again at St Peter's School, 10.00am, Saturdays in September.
New members are very welcome. For those interested, please email [email protected] for more information.
