When are you too old to learn to negotiate... Apparently, it’s not at 92!
What a great ‘Old Peterite’ TNC Taster session we had on 16 November 2020! Thank you to Old Peterite Philip Brown for hosting yet another, fantastic Negotiation Workshop event.
Old Peterites from across the globe met for their third The Negotiation Club Taster to catch up, share fun stories and practice some negotiation skills.
But there was one ‘Old’ Peterite that showed us all that you’re never too old to learn... because at a wonderful age of 92 we were joined by Kenneth, who had attended the school during WW2. (Pictured in the photo of The Rise from 1945, far right, 3rd row from the bottom).
Kenneth attended the event alongside his daughter, Pamela, they both threw themselves into the Zoom technology and some wonderful negotiation practice. It was a great evening with great people and we learnt some useful lessons even in such a short period of time. Who knew how we can become ‘anchored’ to our OWN numbers even before we enter the negotiation table, or how observation skills are the key to every negotiation! What a great, entertaining and fun event.
Don’t worry if you’ve missed the chance to take part this time. We are looking forward to announcing more opportunities to take part with The Negotiation Club and Philip Brown coming in the new year!
